Q. What is Do More 24 Delaware? Do More 24 Delaware is designed to be a fun and easy way for the entire community to impact philanthropy and be inspired to donate to nonprofits serving Delaware. It is a unique 24-hour giving event that showcases the amazing and vital work of nonprofit organizations serving our state. The goal is to inspire Delawareans to come together for 24 hours and contribute as much as they can financially to the causes and organizations that they support. The 2020 event raised nearly $400,000 for 276 nonprofits in 24 hours, and we are hoping to raise even more this year! 

Q. When is Do More 24 Delaware? Do More 24 Delaware 2021 will be held over 24 hours on March 4-5, 2021, starting at 6 PM EST on Thursday, March 4, 2021 and ending at 6 PM EST on Friday, March 5, 2021. Q. What is the Do More 24 Delaware virtual benefit concert? The Do More 24 Delaware virtual benefit concert is our way of creating a fun, additional way to help support the nonprofits participating in the Do More 24 Delaware giving day event. Proceeds from the concert will be used to create or supplement our prizes that will be awarded to the participating nonprofits raising money in the 2021 Do More 24 Delaware event.

Q. When is the Do More 24 Delaware virtual benefit concert? The virtual benefit concert will air for one night only after the close of the 2021 Do More 24 Delaware giving day, on Friday, March 5, 2021 starting at approximately 8 PM EST.

Q. Who does the Do More 24 Delaware virtual concert benefit? The concert will benefit the more than 300 nonprofits serving Delaware that will be participating in the 2021 Do More 24 Delaware event. You can see the list of participating organizations here. Proceeds from the concert will be used to create or supplement our prizes that will be awarded to the participating nonprofits raising money in the 2021 Do More 24 Delaware event.

Q. What is the schedule for the virtual benefit concert? Once the event begins, there will be some brief introductory remarks from our hosts (including announcing the unofficial total of how much was raised this year through the giving day), followed by Jimmie's set. After Jimmie's set, there will be a short fan Q&A moderated by our hosts. The entire event will be concluded by approximately 8:30 PM EST.

Q. Will I be able to ask Jimmie questions during his Q&A? No. Due to the time constraints and other limitations around the virtual benefit concert event, we will unable to respond to audience questions or comments during the concert or Q&A. 

Q. If I can't make it on Friday, March 8, can I watch the replay afterwards? No. This is an exclusive, one night only event and will not be available for replay afterwards. Registrations and donations are non-refundable.

Q. Is my virtual benefit ticket purchase price tax deductible? Yes. $50 of your $55 advanced ticket price and any additional donation you make is 100% tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Q. Who is organizing the concert? Do More 24 Delaware giving day is a joint initiative of Spur Impact Association, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and United Way of Delaware, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and is planned by those organizations and more than a dozen other volunteers from other organizations throughout the state of Delaware.

Q. Who is supporting the concert? In addition to the planning team and Do More 24 Delaware organizers, the benefit concert is supported, in part, by a grant from the Delaware Division of the Arts, a state agency, in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts. The Division promotes Delaware arts events on DelawareScene.com. The virtual benefit concert (as well as the Do More 24 Delaware 24-hour livestream is being produced and supported by King Creative. It is also being supported thanks to the Do More 24 Delaware Philanthropic Champions Discover Bank and Barclays US Consumer Bank, and the other event sponsors and supporters

Q. Someone else claims to be selling tickets, can I buy them from them? No. If someone else is trying to sell you tickets to this event and not directing you to this website or to the Do More 24 Delaware event, chances are it's a scam and you should delete and ignore. This is the only website where you can purchase tickets in advance for this event and ticket sales will close on March 4.
 
Q. Besides by buying a ticket here, are there any other ways I can get access to this concert? Yes. Anyone who makes a donation (individually or combined) of $50 or more to one (or more) of the participating nonprofits in the Do More 24 Delaware giving day event between 6 PM on Thursday, March 4, 2021 and 6 PM on Friday, March 5, 2021 will also receive an email ahead of the concert with the link to watch. Our hope is that his helps many of the nonprofits encourage their supporters to donate more that day!
